In this fable, a lion, a hare, and a hyena make plans to cultivate a field together. However, they agree that anyone who hesitates in their intention should be eaten. As they work in the field, each animal hesitates at different points, and the others threaten to eat them. Eventually, only the lion and the hare remain, and the man tricks the lion into getting stuck in a shelter where the hare eats him. The man then takes the field for himself. This story teaches a lesson about trust and loyalty, and how greed can lead to betrayal.
