Tom Thumb tells the story of a boy born into a poor family of lumberjacks who is literally no bigger than a thumb. Two strangers, amazed by the boy's small stature, attempt to buy him from his father, Tom tries to trick the two men and escape back to his father. His journey home requires Tom to befriend some local thieves, escape from a cow's stomach, and guide a wolf back to his home.
