Cinderella is the story of a young girl who becomes involved in a series of terrible circumstances. When the young girl's mother dies, her father remarries. For his second wife, the young girl's father married a woman who not only commanded and controlled him, but treated Cinderella terribly. When the prince arranged a ball that Cinderella was forbidden to attend, Cinderella's fairy godmother appeared and went to work to send Cinderella to the ball.
