Cinderella is the story of a young lady who is caught up in a series of terrible circumstances. When the young girl's mother dies, her father remarries. For his second wife, the girl's father married a woman who not only ordered him around and controlled him, but treated Cinderella terribly. When the prince threw a ball Cinderella was forbidden to attend, Cinderella's fairy godmother showed up and set to work sending Cinderella to the ball.
