Cinderella is the tale of a young girl who is caught up in a terrible set of circumstances. When the young mother died, her father remarried. For his second wife, the young girls' father married a woman who not only ordered and controlled him, but who treated Cinderella terribly. When the prince was given a ball Cinderella was forbidden to attend, Cinderella's fairy godmother appeared and set to work to send Cinderella to the ball.
