In this story, a king is obsessed with collecting rare items, and when a stranger tells him that he is missing the Talking Tree, the King sends his couriers to search the world for it. When they return empty-handed, the King orders the stranger's execution, but then decides to search for the tree himself. After many days of searching, the King hears the tree speaking in a valley and discovers a beautiful girl, who is the daughter of the King of Spain, cursed to live in the form of a tree.
